Founded in Munich. Working on factory floors in Europe and North America.
Engineers founded Taktonic in 2023 because they were tired of reports that changed nothing. We build and run the systems ourselves, and we get paid when they work.
Plants don't need more advice; they need fixes that stay fixed.
Our CEO, Selim Arkan, started his career as a maintenance technician in his family's textile mill. He learned early that plants don't need more advice; they need fixes that stay fixed.
In September 2023 he founded Taktonic in Munich with Dr. Hannah Weiss, a control-systems engineer who had spent years making automation software-defined. We serve US plants online, without a US office: video calls in their time zone, Command cover through every US shift, and engineers who fly in for installations.
Today 84 people run autonomy in 38 plants across Europe and North America.
